What a busy and at times challenging year it’s been for our UK Talent Marketing team! These guys support our clients and onsite teams by delivering bespoke employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies to ensure our clients can always reach the precise talent they need, when they need it. Quite a task in an increasingly competitive candidate market!

So it was amazing to see the team’s hard word recognised at this month’s IRP Awards, where they were awarded 'Campaign of the Year' for their work with Heathrow Airport. More about that below. Earlier in the year the team also won 'Most Effective Recruitment Marketing Campaign' at the 2018 Recruiter Awards, against some seriously hot competition, so again huge landmark moment for the team in recognition of their innovative approach. 

What does an award-winning recruitment marketing campaign look like? 

We were awarded Campaign of the Year for our work with Heathrow, here’s a short summary of the brief and our creative approach: 


Guidant Global was asked by Heathrow Airport to recruit a new team of ‘Innovation Catalysts’ to support Heathrow’s expansion project. The client wanted a digital campaign to reach graduates and experienced hires with a passion for tech, innovation and air travel: people who would to help define the airport of the future. 


To create maximum impact across all social media channels and other digital platforms, we chose an attention grabbing typographical approach with lots of animation and thought-provoking messaging. We also included an element of problem solving and utilised sci-fi -like fantasy concepts of the future to appeal to the target audience of ‘tech-minded graduates.’
