Web accessibility software to help you use this website in the way that suits you best

I was diagnosed with dyslexia at university (which came as a huge shock) so I understand some of the barriers that can stop people accessing information online.

And I created web accessibility software Recite Me after my experience of finding it difficult to access any website, anywhere and anytime I wanted.

Recite Me has recently been added to the Guidant Global website to help you and every other visitor to use the site in the way that works best for you, regardless of whether you have a disability or impairment.

Recite Me

Recite Me is a cloud-based web accessibility solution that lets you customise this website the way you need it to work for you. It is easy to use, includes text to speech functionality, dyslexia software, an interactive dictionary and a tool to translate written content into over 100 languages.

Not only does it allow people to change the style of the website to suit their needs (e.g. make the font size larger, change the font colour and background colour contrast) but it also makes accessing information easier.

Convert text to audio

For example, want to listen to an audio version of that long, detailed person specification for the job you’re applying for while you’re making a cup of tea or going for a walk. We’ve got you covered.

At the click of a button you can use Recite Me to opt to have any part of the written content on the Guidant Global website read out aloud to you. You can event convert it to an MP3 audio file and listen to it a later time, where and when it suits you.
In short, Recite Me helps make this website more accessible for disabled people and it enhances the usability for non-disabled people too.

How it works

Here’s how it works. First, click on the text that says Accessibility and Languages at the top right hand corner of the webpage. The Recite Me toolbar will now open. The visual guide below that explains what each button on the Recite Me toolbar does.
