Strategic Contingent Workforce Expert and Diversity Champion Marie France promoted to Senior Vice President of Guidant Global

Guidant Global are delighted to announce that Marie France has been appointed Senior Vice President of Guidant Global and BarPellam, promoted from her previous position of Vice President, Programme Management.

Marie is an industry specialist with a vast range of expertise in contingent workforce management, procurement operations and sourcing, program management, and change management. Her career has crossed multiple verticals including finance, technology, and media, and it is this experience that has enabled her to structure strategic, efficient, and successful global contingent labour programs that have delighted our clients over the last few years.

Marie was born in Philadelphia and raised in a small town outside of Pittsburgh; an African American in a predominantly Caucasian area. Marie has used the racist encounters she faced throughout her upbringing as a source of information for others, and in sharing her experiences, she has been able to educate and highlight the fact inequality still exists to business leaders, employers, and educators. She is proud to be a driving force in our employee ambassador group and inclusion council, Unity.

In her time at Guidant Global, Marie has established DEI as a critical priority, working closely with clients to bring DEI expertise based on their needs. In working with one major financial firm, Marie’s efforts with this specific customer have increased supplier diversity spend from 12% in 2019 to over 30% eligible spend in 2022.

Marie also spearheaded DEI with a major manufacturing client to expand wallet share of a small diverse supplier. Since 2020, placements for the agency increased by 767%, and the vendor achieved a Top 5 diversity status in Q3 2021.

Most recently, in May 2023 Marie was named in Staffing Industry Analysts' 2023 list of “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Influencers – US and Canada”. The elite list is made up of 49 professionals in the workforce solutions ecosystem that stand out in their commitment to advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in their organisations and communities.

“Since joining Impellam Group in 2019, Marie has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, strategic thinking and an unwavering focus on customer success,” states Simon Blockley, CEO, Impellam Group, Global Managed Service.

“During her tenure, she has made significant contributions to our business growth. Always generous with her time, she has become a trusted partner to clients and colleagues alike. I am especially proud and appreciative of her forward thinking, proactive approach to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Marie has been an advocate of DEI throughout her entire career and was recently recognised for her extensive work by Staffing Industry Analysts. Congratulations Marie on this well-deserved promotion; I know she will continue to push the boundaries and drive further success for customers and colleagues.”
