The Situation

A global leader in household and beauty technology innovation seeking to elevate recruitment, management, and development.

Guidant Global began supporting this client in 2018, launching our Managed Service Provider (MSP) programme in 2019.

Our client was going through a period of rapid growth and digital transformation. As this occurred key challenges emerged.

As an organisation with multiple offices, factories and departments, they needed a much clearer, more transparent view of their workforce. Without a more centralised approach, it was next to impossible to understand what was happening across different teams and locations.

The Challenge

Rapid growth and digital transformation created challenges across visibility, compliance, and niche talent.

They were also working with a large, varied group of suppliers, which was leading to inconsistencies in quality, process, and reporting.

01
Lack of visibility and standardisation

As an organisation with multiple offices, factories and departments, they needed a much clearer, more transparent view of their workforce. Without a more centralised approach, it was next to impossible to understand what was happening across different teams and locations.

02
Compliance and regulatory complexity

The regulatory landscape was changing in the UK, including IR35 and other compliance requirements, posing significant risks to workforce management.

03
Niche talent and digital transformation

To sustain innovation and support business-critical projects, our client needed to rapidly scale hiring for specialised roles in engineering, IT, and digital marketing.

At the same time, digital transformation initiatives demanded new technology stacks, fresh talent, and updated processes to effectively handle surges in direct sales and digital engagement. This dual focus required a robust approach to sourcing niche skills and adapting workforce strategies to meet evolving digital needs.

The Solution

Guidant Global implemented a comprehensive MSP programme to address the key challenges.

Guidant Global implemented a comprehensive MSP programme to address the key challenges through the following solutions.

The adoption of SAP Fieldglass VMS enabled automated processes, improved reporting, and data-driven decision-making for all talent streams. The supplier network was refined from 43 to 16 high-performing partners, ensuring quality and consistency across all skill types.

02 Compliance and rate benchmarking +

Rigorous compliance and rate benchmarking were introduced. Guidant Global managed all communications and project oversight for the IR35 reform, establishing seamless processes and correct worker classifications.

03 Broad range of skill types +

Delivering recruitment for a broad range of skill types, from engineering and IT to corporate, retail and manufacturing roles. We ensured access to specialist expertise and rapid scalability for our client.

04 Tailored recruitment and project management +
